Once you are on the “Summary” tab, you are ready to proceed to the next step which is restoring your iPhone 8.

Step 5: Click on the “Restore iPhone…” button.

On the “Summary” tab in iTunes, you will find a button that says “Restore iPhone…”. This button will begin the process of restoring your iPhone 8, which will erase all data and settings on the device, and also remove any passcode or lock on the device.

Before clicking on “Restore iPhone…” button, make sure that you have backed up all important data and settings on your iPhone 8, since restoring the device will erase everything on it.

When you click on the “Restore iPhone…” button, a pop-up window will appear asking you to confirm that you want to restore your iPhone 8. This pop-up window will also remind you that restoring your iPhone 8 will erase all data and settings on the device.

Read the warning carefully before proceeding, and make sure that you have backed up all important data and settings on your iPhone 8.

Once you have confirmed that you want to restore your iPhone 8, the process of erasing and restoring the device will begin.

Step 6: Confirm that you want to restore your iPhone 8 by clicking on the “Restore” button in the pop-up window.

After clicking on “Restore iPhone…” button in step 5, a pop-up window will appear asking you to confirm that you want to restore your iPhone 8.
