FORGOT YOUR IPHONE 6 PLUS PASSCODE? HERE’S WHAT TO DO

There are a few different ways to unlock an iPhone 6 Plus if you’ve forgotten the passcode:

If you have synced your iPhone with iTunes, you can try using iTunes to erase the device and restore it.

If you’ve enabled Find My iPhone, you can use iCloud to erase the device and restore it.

If the above methods do not work, you can try putting your iPhone into recovery mode and then restoring it using iTunes.

If you are unable to restore the phone, you can take it to an Apple Retail Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider to have the phone unlocked.

If you have synced your iPhone 6 Plus with iTunes in the past, you can use iTunes to erase the device and restore it. Here are the steps to do this:

1. Connect your iPhone 6 Plus to the computer that you normally use to sync your device with iTunes.
2. Open iTunes on your computer.
3. If prompted for a passcode, try entering any passcodes that you may have previously used. If you can’t remember the passcode, and you’ve never synced your device with iTunes, you’ll need to put your device into recovery mode to erase it.
4. Wait for iTunes to sync your device and make a backup.
5. Click on the “Restore iPhone” button.
6. Follow the on-screen instructions to restore your device and set it up as a new device.

It is important to note that restoring your device using iTunes will erase all data and settings, including your passcode, and you will lose all your data unless you have a backup.

Use iCloud

If you’ve enabled Find My iPhone on your iPhone 6 Plus, you can use iCloud to erase the device and restore it. Here are the steps to do this:

1. Go to iCloud.com from a computer or another device.
2. Sign in to iCloud with your Apple ID and password.
3. Click on “Find My iPhone”
4. Select your iPhone 6 Plus from the list of devices.
5. Click on “Erase iPhone”
6. Enter your Apple ID password to confirm the action.
7. Wait for the device to be erased
8. After the device is erased, you will see the option to restore the device from a backup or set it up as a new device.

Please note that erasing your device will also remove the passcode and it will delete all the data, setting and apps on the device, unless you have a backup on iCloud

Use Recovery Mode

If the above methods do not work, you can try putting your iPhone 6 Plus into recovery mode and then restoring it using iTunes. Here are the steps to do this:

1. Connect your iPhone 6 Plus to your computer using a USB cable.
2. Open iTunes on your computer.
3. Press and hold the “Home” and “Power” buttons on your iPhone 6 Plus until the device enters recovery mode. You will see the “Connect to iTunes” screen on the device.
4. Release the buttons when you see the “Connect to iTunes” screen.
5. iTunes will detect the device in recovery mode and display an alert saying that it has detected a device in recovery mode.

Contact Apple Retail

If you are unable to restore your iPhone 6 Plus using the above methods, you can take it to an Apple Retail Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider to have the phone unlocked. Keep in mind that this option will erase all the data on the device and it is not guaranteed that the data can be recovered.

Here are the steps to take it to the store:

1. Locate the nearest Apple Retail Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider by visiting Apple’s website or searching online.
2. Make an appointment at the store, in some countries it’s not necessary.
3. Take your iPhone 6 Plus to the store and make your  complains
4. If the phone has not been jailbroken, there must be a way out for unlocking your phone at the store.
